I went out this morning to see how the new barrel shoots and the first thing I found out my Leupold Mark4 is bad. Last Friday I took this rifle out and did a work up with the Magnetospeed to gather info on the new barrel. I took the Magneto. off and zeroed the scope , this morning it was off of zero as usual. I had a feeling of this so I brought along a Nightforce SHV I have laying around. The ring height is alittle high for this rifle. Overall I’m pretty happy with the new barrel so far . Not quite to Fotis level yet :grin: but getting there. This is a stout load averaging 3165fps with a 230 gr bullet is tough to beat. This is a 28” barrel though. Muzzle energy is over 5100 Lb/ft for a 30 caliber.

As for leupold I feel sorry for them when SWFA will perfect the Ultralight 2.5-10 I will swap them all.
