Best powder for 7mmRM and 150 Partition

What is your most accurate powder with the 7mmRM and 150 Partition?

Stiff load of RL22 with 150g NBTs...not a PT but should still shoot

Max load of RL-26, with above mentioned 150 gr Nosler BT, 70.1 gr will get you 3154 fps or close to it.
Next would be IMR 7828, 68.1gr, 3124 fps,and then RL-22, 68 gr, 3107 fps
RL-33 looks quite promising too, 80.6 gr, at 3164 fps.
If you use a 150 gr Nosler E-Tip, with RL-26, 70.75 gr, will get you around 3230 fps.
Remember, reduce your load 10% for a start load, and work up.

My dad only used one powder in his 7mm and it was with the 160 gr. Partition. He used H4831.

RL26 would be where I would start. Then 7828SSC and RL22..

IMR4350 is my go to powder for the 7 mag. It has been for 30 years or so. Now don't think I haven't tried other powders because I have. It's just that IMR4350 always beats the others out.

69.0grs of Reloader-26
67.5grs of Reloader-22
65.0grs of IMR or Accurate 4350

If those excellent powders fail...try RL19

Not exactly the bullet you are asking about but with the 154 gr Hornady I had great results with IMR 4451 and 7977.

H-4350 with 160 gr bullet, most accurate in my rifle. For hunting I like the AB or the PT. For all other shooting 162 Gr Hornady BTSP

I always used 65gr IMR 4350 with the 150 PT in the Mod 700 BDL I used for almost 10yrs. Some don't shoot well past 63gr, but its a good one!
