Has anyone shot the 70gr Acubond in a 1-10 twist. I would like to try them in my Ruger American

Doubt they would stabilize in that slow of a twist. 1:7 or 1:8 would been needed most likely.

I have a Ruger American and it has a 1-8 twist. It will stabilize 70gr Speer and 77gr Sierra Match HP very well. Would like to try the Nosler 70gr AB. Let me know if you try them. Dan.

The 70 gr AB is my go to bullet for the 22 Nosler which has a 1:8 twist. They shoot great out to 400 yards for me.

I'm going to try these out in my Sako 75 that has a 22" 1-10 twist barrel. JBM Ballistics stability calculator indicates that they will be stable at over 2700 fps muzzle velocity, but you never really know until you try them in your rifle. If they don't work out then I'll hunt with them out of my 1 -8 twist rifle.

They will work great in a 1:8 twist. Hope they will stabilize in the 1:10 twist for you.
