300 Win/180g Sierra Gameking

300 Win, 180g SGK, approximately muzzle velocity of 2950fps.

Bullet was found in 3rd jug which were placed at 25 yards. The 180 sierra boat tail didn't do as good as I thought it would have. Our party has killed plenty of elk with this bullet, but they have been on the further side of 200 yards 90% of the time. Definately not a bullet you would want incase you jumped something out of the brush or timber...The lead core seperated. Again, I forgot this bullet at Jakes so hopefully he can weigh it and take a pic for us all.

Weighed 92 grains. About what I expected with a cup and core bullet I guess.

Still doesn't look too bad to me. Yeah, the core came loose but heck, at 25 yards, that is pretty rough, but it looks like it could still handle business if needed. Scotty

I've witnessed a number of moose, elk and large bears taken with the Gameking. I've always been impressed with the performance of the bullet. For a cup and core, it is a fine bullet.
