Thursday I picked myself up a Kimber BP Ten II .45 ACP Handgun. This is the first Kimber Handgun I have ever purchased, but not the first 1911 I have owned.
Up until this trade I have been carrying a Glock Model 21 .45 ACP for the past few years. When I saw and handled the Kimber BP Ten II, I just had to have it, and struck up a trade with the Gun Shop.
I have about 1000 rounds of CCI Blazer .45 ACP Ammo on hand with the 200gr. Jacketed Hollow Point Bullet so that is what I have been shooting so far. So far I have put about a box of ammo through the Kimber with one failure to feed (which was me shooting it limp wristed). Accuracy isn't half bad during the break in period. Today I chronographed 5 rounds and the average velocity for the 200gr. Jacketed Hollow Point was 998 FPS.
Does anyone know of the best place to find the best price on magazines for the Kimber BP Ten II?
