Yes I have a Ruger. I want to load 225 grain bullets and was looking for something quality other than partitions. Nobody makes a 225 grain flat base spitzer other than the Nosler partition. I thought about Sierra's but I hear bad things about core separation with their boattails.

I can load my 350 Rem Mag to a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.900 inches. Is this bullet suitable to the loads in the newest manual and not be a highly compressed load (over 103%), in my set up.

I am going to lap the rings on my Ruger. The rings are blued steel. What should I use for rust prevention.

I agree. Ninety grain is ideal for some speed but also sectional density and weight. Probably good for coyote pelts. Hornady has an 85 gr Interbond.

I am looking for some 300wsm loads with 180 gr Nosler accubond or 180 gr Sierra pro hunter (flat base) bullets. Other bullet loads are welcome also. Please include the primer and length if you know it.

I am prety sure that 180 gr AB bullets will hit the powder in the case when I load them. Will it hurt anything to compress the powder?

Try different bullets, powders, and primers. Also, maybe it needs a new crown. If these do not work try giving it a new home.

Which CT bullet are you shooting? If it is the ballistic tip I would definitally switch to the accubond for less meat damage. I would stay with the 165 weight for the same reason and for better penetration on close shots. I am not obsessed with saving meat but when a shoulder shot damages the...
