One way to tell...Maybe that means that quality control has gotten better and there are fewer 2nds being produced.
Or people have cutback on hoarding thus seconds staying in stock… lots more primers and powder available anymore…. I d say same reason; people have as much as they want/can afford at the extreme prices that have been prevalent!!
I'm about the same as well Guy.I've got more than enough Nosler bullets, mostly purchased through Shooter's Pro Shop as seconds, to keep shooting the rest of my life...![]()
Primers and powder, I'm not so comfortable with my supply, but it's not bad.

Or it's hard to have 2nds when your not making any # 1sMaybe that means that quality control has gotten better and there are fewer 2nds being produced.
Try it you'll like it.I see they did add a few new ones overnight, they must have read our post. That 125gr Partition in 6.5 looks interesting. Might have to try that in my Swede and 260
I use the 125 gr partitions in my 6.5-06 handgun at about 2450 fps and they are excellent on deer and antelope.I see they did add a few new ones overnight, they must have read our post. That 125gr Partition in 6.5 looks interesting. Might have to try that in my Swede and 260
It's a great bullet. I use in my 6.5X284 for Mule Deer and It is accurate and a hammer.I see they did add a few new ones overnight, they must have read our post. That 125gr Partition in 6.5 looks interesting. Might have to try that in my Swede and 260
I dont know of an instance the Partition isn't a good bullet sans the most dangerous of game. It's a great bullet. I use in my 6.5X284 for Mule Deer and It is accurate and a hammer.

I've bought bullets in bulk many times and although they may not have the greatest design so popular today, they're still fun to shoot and more important, they still kill game quite nicely.Over-buying bullets can be counterproductive. I've bought my share of 2nds/blems and bulk bullets when I thought it was a good idea. However, new bullets come out all the time. Better BCs, better terminal performance, tighter tolerances or some other enhancement that got my attention. As I buy, test and use new bullets, I've noticed that my accumulation of older bullets just keeps growing. Some of my inventoried bullets are in older, outdated boxes that really show their age.
It's not practical to sell these older bullets so they either collect dust or are given away. For a guy who is an incessant reloader/shooter you wouldn't think a large accumulation of unneeded bullets would happen, but it did. I'm a lot more conservative about my bullet purchases lately and try to not over-buy.
