IT’s Derby Time.

Was a good race!
23:1 were good odds if you placed your bet...although I bet some people's pulses were racing as fast as that horse for the first half of the race where he was dead last...to watch him surge in the last part of the race to take it wide and beat them all!

What a race!
From last to first, and at the point of the race where you wouldn’t expect it to happen.
Amazing

We didn’t make it back to Kentucky for the Derby this year. All of Catherines Kin are there and sending pics and well wishes. Me, I bet on Grays and long odds. Good luck with your bets.
Sounds like Great White would of been your horse. Too bad he was a bit fractious.

Well my horses finished 2 and 4 wish I had bet my 2 bucks on 70/1 Golden Tempo. That was a great horse race.

indeed. My better half has family history in Kentucky going back to Daniel Boone and the Wilderness trail. She, as a teen, exercised horses at Churchhill Downs as well as a couple of big horse farms nearby. She always bets on a long shot Gray and was quite upset when that all unfolded loading the horses. She loves the long shots. Last year she bet on Stryker as that is the brother in Laws last name. That was a good pay day.

A friend of mine had a Grey stallion who sired a lot of Grey foals. His sire was the only stallion of record that was a double recessive grey. I mistyped that, double dominate grey.
