New Swift Z Bullet

I'm interested in seeing the specs on these bullets as they are introduced, and then seeing comparisons to other bullets such as the ABLR and Terminal Ascent.
A comparison test of the 174-175 bullets in these three makes, in a few popular rifles chambered in the 7MM PRC , all with same length barrels, would be interesting...

As noted above, Swift bullets are expensive, and here in the north can be a lot harder to source.

I look forward to the .257 and .338 introductions!
I hope the .257 comes in the 120-128 gr weight range (128 would directly compete against the ELD-X for my 25 CM), and the .338 in a 215-230 gr weight range for the 338 Federal and 338-06.

I would suspect that the .338 would be somewhere in the 230-250 gr weight range for the larger cases for those that are not shooting the Lapua (e.g., 338 Win Mag, 338 RPM, 340 Wby, 33 Nosler) as there are far more rifles chambered to these cartridges, or heavier (265-300 gr) to compete against the ABLR that is for the Lapua.

Swift can’t keep up with demand for the bullets they already produce so this is a huge surprise to me.
I don’t see replacing the ablr which is already tried and proven-
The sloppy half ass produced video was unimpressive as well, seriously that’s your video you want to put on YouTube?!

I have no use for a bullet like that, however, it is a good looking bullet. My question is, What does it cost?

$2 a piece you have to pay for the best bullet ever meanwhile I bet my 30 cent 180 grain round nose bullet will kill a deer faster than this bullet will at a 100 yards.

If I hunted large, tough game I may consider those bonded type bullets but since I don't hunt game like that I'll stay with my 44 cent SST and 43 cent Gameking bullets.

Mr. Hober covers his new “zephyr” Z bullet in this podcast for those interested. I will not share any opinions, just some information to digest and entertain

Are you hunting buffalo with the same outfitter near Bedford you hunted with a couple times now?
Yes same outfitter/land owner. They acquired a 250,000 acre piece west of East London a couple years ago. I have not hunted that ground yet but it’s good for Buffaloe and fantastic for Kudu. Good Nyala also. The ranch I hunted twice, near Bedford has Buffalo but not as many. That bull taken by the man with a bloody nose was taken while I was there. We had bumped into him at about 30 yards a couple of days before he was shot.
