I tend to think that every step in the process from decapping to crimping and everything in between has the potential to effect it. The biggies, IMHO, would be neck tension, case length, OAL, and brass consistency.
Doing a paint and flooring job in the spare bedroom I as use for my reloading room, and good golly! Doing the clean out I realized just how much stuff I have amassed over the years! Looking back to when all I had was a Lee single stage, a few tools and everything I owned for reloading fit neatly...
A dandy copper over glass in African Amouk wood. Has a ton of raspy old hen. I've never seen a copper call made using Amouk wood, but it sure sounds sweet! comes with two strikers (hickory and rosewood)

They have a big following on FB. from what I gather they are quite nasty on squishy stuff. I looked at them for my 12” Grendel because of the low minimum expansion velocity. Also the owner is always available. He talked to me on his cell while he was traveling on vacation.
Jim, you certainly are a 280 Ackley enabler ;) ....You told me the same thing once upon a time and I ended up with a 280 AI. It's probably my favorite rifle now.
