I will be travelling because of work to Shawano, Wisconsin, near end of January, it is possible to do any big game hunting at those dates ?
Also maybe I will need to go near houston, Texas.

I just arrived from a friend's farm. 600 acres of just harvested wheat sorrounded by thornbush. I walked from 8 pm to 5am !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only saw ONE pig and it seemed he was riding a motorbike, I was unable to cut distances. A pity because the night was warm and the yellow harvested fields...

Which kudu you are refering to ??? they are all different animals. The one I liked most is the one previous to the last one (sp?), That one was hunted in Namibia and I shot it with an 8mm Nosler Partition 200 gr (if I remeber well the bullet weight).

Thanks Dr.Mike, indeed the 9,3x62 is a superb hunting caliber and his bigger brother, the 9,3x64 is as good as the venerable 375 H&H.
Here is a buff and a pig taken with my 9,3x62 using 286 gr. Round Nose bullets :mrgreen:

Thanks for the bullet recomendation. There is another bullet I think I should try before and it's the Accubond. Imagine a Round Nose Accubond...that will be a cool looking bullet for hunting red stags in La Pampa's thick thornbush :grin:
