Signess- I've got it bad

rather than starting a new thread i'll just add to this 1. as previously stated i owned up until a couple of weeks ago an x-10 to add to the 226 (357sig). now i'm building frankensig's. icarus frames to start with and 2 norsso slides. i have an axiom 9mm from brownnells that was nearly $100 off, but it's a cary/compact slide (3.9"). the pics shown are possible builds along with the x-10.

i'm awaiting on 2 p320 carry police trade-ins in 45acp for parts and too build using the slides and mags for 1 or 2 full size 45's..........well the slides will still be carry/compact, but the barrels will be full sized (4.7")

Nice collection of Sigs. My wife has a P365XL with the built in slide compensator. She shoots it pretty good. A buddy brought over his P220 in 10mm and let me take a test drive. I really liked that one, it lit a slow burn.

I bought the sao version last year but haven't put 1 round through it yet or the 45acp da/sa i got a few weeks later

My first Sig was a two-tone P226 in 9mm. Then Sig came out with the Elite and I found out you could drop a 357 Sig barrel in a 40 & vice versa. Sold the 9mm and never looked back. The P220 Hunter I have (as all Hunters) has the 5" barrel and is SAO. Its been very accurate but may get a trigger job. The Sig P226 and P220 are bar none my favorite semi-autos. Currently partial to the X-Five😈

I have heard and read good things about Sigs over the years. Have handled a couple, but never shot one.

My current 40S&W is a CZ SP-01. I just love how the CZs fits my large hands...but also that they fit a variety f hand sizes well.
I have also owned 9mm's and another 40 in the Model 75 and 85...and found I just prefer the 40. And the SP-01 provides all the features I was looking for that the 75 and 85 did not. But this is just my preference. :D
I had a lot fun with my 85 in 40 while participating in the IDPA while living in Dawson Creek and working at the LGS. Never should have sold that Dual Tone pistol! Was a lot of fun to shoot! And very accurate too! (When I did my part)

My 1911 is a Kimber in 10mm...which I got as it is the closest in a pistol to my revolvers (NMBH's 41 Rem Mag).

But as we cannot hunt with, or typically carry (except in rare circumstances for certain professions with numerous caveats), handguns here north of the border, and I just do not shoot them enough, or as much as others do, I wasn't expanding on my handgun battery. And now that we cannot acquire handguns at all anymore, unless we have a special permit for being on the competitive teams, I am now regulated to stick to my current battery. Guess I'll have to somehow join a team!
Why not secede from Canada and become a U.S. Territory?
Just a thought.

I fell off the wagon after 4 years w/o a sip. I don't know what came over me. Just to grip it will get feelings back i don't think i want. I guess my age and possibly early stages of memory issues, but for the life of me I lost control...........what should I do about this hideous eye sore it should be here in the next 2 weeks. It's been since '86 that I've owned and shot a 1911 in any cartridge. I found it for 250 less than any other sites. Are these any good?

I carried the Sig P229 in .357 Sig professionally for 23 years and then we transitioned to Glock 19. I really like both, but it took a little getting used the different style triggers (DA/SA vs striker). I own a P229 in 357 Sig and P232 for summertime carry when I was only authorized to carry Sigs... Now I only carry Glocks. They work for me...

I am looking for a new (to me) P226 in 9mm. I have one already and the conversion to 40 and 357 Sig but I like the slime lines of the non-rail ones. I think I am getting old, or maybe a traditionalist? Anyway, I have never been normal when it comes to guns for sure.
