just had a 260 ackly built this year and it is thors hammer on whitetail out to 300 yds. (furthest shot i took on doe) 125 partitions. had to play a bit with seating depth to get them to shoot but boy when i did!!!!!!!!!
did my deer hunting with the .224 TTH this year took 4 deer all dropped in tracks with 60 gr partitions and one huge hog (250lb) ranges from 50 to 320 yards but mine is a 1:7 twist the 8 twist will have no issues wit the 60's am playing with the 75 swift scirocco but hard to mess with...
im doing it with the 5 groove canted land barrel and 47 gr of H-414 with no indication of pressure. had one shot go 3034 out of a 10 shot group???? wrote that one off as a fluke as most are stayin consistent give or take 10fps :P

sky:: the reason I switched was purely cosmetic I feel like the partition is the best bullet for hunting but loved the way the accubond looked and it performed as promised. I would love to tell you that ballistic coef. had something to do with it but it is to small for me to tell. now...
oh ok the specifics are the bullet at the largest part of the mushroom is .644 it was hit just where the neck and body join quartering in found in off side hide about neck high I know that a shot that far has alot of luck in it but like the gude said "without good gun handling there isnt...
it was wild I would have never taken that shot if it wasnt for my guide talking me through it reminding me of our practice session on the range. I was stoked and had 3 witnesses 1 that I work with makes it easer to tell at work lol :o
Just want to let the crowd in on how my 338 accubond 225gr performed out of my 338-06. Went on a cow hunt in Ruiodoso at the Mescalero Reservation. when my shot came up it was on a cow that was 529 yards away ranged by my guideand bushnell range finders. I felt it was a little long but he said...
the odds of finding a accubond from a close range shot are not likely. But if you do you will find that even at 60% this is a very high weight retention for any bullet at close range from a magnum rifle. I would put it all on the line with an accubond, and do. I shoot then in all my guns...
Hey nosler any plans on a heavy .224 in the BT or Accubond in the near future. I shoot the 60 partitions but have to throttle back the 224 tth (22-6mm) to the point of a swift kind of defeats the purpose. any plans on a deer buster in the bt or accubond that i can dream of?? It is the only gun I...
gaining momentum??????? like a freight train going downhill!!!! dont shoot one myself but you cant get on ANY hunting board without discussion on the .20s saying it is gaining momenum is like saying the sun is a touch warm! :P
I have to agree on the 8mm still scratching my head over that one. ( and still waiting on a heavy 22 or a 6.5 accubond. surely there is a bigger market out there for these
all we use in our shop is Broughton or Hart. Broughton has a new canted land barrel that has the 1000 yarder buzzing. I have one in 8 twist 22 on a 224 TTH and is is awesome
