    Best rifle cleaning process

    I see several people recommending Dewey rods. What is the reason for not using Tipton rods? They have no coating to hold crud and are carbon which is harmless. Just curious.

    Hornady screwed up and sent me a 220volt model even though the packing slip says 110volt. I am very unhappy. Waiting to spek with them in the morning.

    I load mostly for production rifles. I just thought it sure would be faster and easier to make changes to OAL when working up new loads on rifles.

    I am looking to buy a new seater die for .22-250. I am torn betwenn the RCBS Gold Medal Match and the Redding Competition. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for others? All advice is appreciated.

    Thumblers tumbler

    The ultrasonics do an awesome job of cleaning brass. Inside, outside, primer pockets, all around and they only take only about 30-45 minutes.

    it is not whether or not Hornady will fix it. One was shipped out to me today. I just miss the cleaner. It does a good job of cleaning brass.

    Model 7

    Got the Model 7 bedded and floated and a trigger job dont(2 lbs). Shot a load of 50 grain NBT over 37 grains of H380 in Lapua brass. With a result of 3 shot .39" group at 100 yards. This is after playing with OAL. Before bedding this combo was over 1" at same OAL.

    Case trimmer

    I am looking to upgrade from an RCBS to the Redding 2400 case trimmer. Is this trimmer as good as it looks? Does anyone have any other recommendations?
