Not bedded. The H100V works well behind a tipped TSX 120 grain (my gun loves this bullet), and it might work well behind the 130 Accubond if I tweak it some but the velocity vs. pressure results indicate that it's a less-than-ideal combination. Jim's work shows that that IMR 4831 is better with...
Update from the lab and range:
130 Accubond with Hodgdon Hybrid 100V maxes out at about 54 grains and 2975fps (and horribly inaccurate in my 673). I think this powder is too fast for the 130. It works well with a 120 grain bullet.
6.5mm/.264 123 or 125 AB. Some want 120. If I had a 260 Rem I would want a 120 AB but a 123 would work there, as well.
7mm 150 AB (or maybe 147 or 148 gr because there is a 154 bonded out there already).
Thanks, Jim, and I see you get 40 more fps with the 4831. I bought the RL-22 at some point after "I think I found Utopia" back in June.
Just got a flyer from Midway showing 130AB's for 23.69.
Good job, Jim!
Scotty: they will be Noslers as soon as I can get a 130AB load that works. It was the first bullet that I seriously tried to load with but I never got it to work. This with very limited range time to invest and only one powder and primer. Conversely, good accuracy with the other...
Been out of the country. Finally made it to the range with my 673 after over a year. Tried a new load, no good. Also shot up the last 4 leftover deer loads to a typical .8" 3-shot group, including the first one out of a cold clean barrel. The fourth one went off a bit. I scratched my head to...
Wow! Talk about CRS: I just found a full box of these sitting on my reloading bench. Had to look thru some records to find that it looks like I bought 'em last September. Duh...
I know this is off-topic and feel free to delete it after folks have had a chance to read it...
Midway has some good prices on Leupold scopes that they are closing out.

Now that you mention it, I think this one (Duluth, GA) didn't have a place on the shelf for 130ABs, either, and my previous purchase of them may have been from Midway. I have CRS pretty bad. :|
From Lee's instructions:
"Bullet Seating Die
"Screw the bullet seating die in until you feel it touch the case mouth. If no crimp is desired, back the die out 1/2 turn. If a crimp is desired, turn the die in 1/4 turn. The bullet must have a crimping groove or it cannot be crimped. Case must...
Yep, that's anal. Here's a pic of load work-up using H100V and 120-grain bullet in a 6.5mm Rem Mag (which I've not been able to find any data for). After considerable research I decided that it should max out somewhere around 50 grains, so I loaded from 45 grains. The anal part: each case is...
Hi Jim,
I appreciate the work you've done here and posting the results, as I have the 673 in 6.5 and no time to do what you have done. I procured some Fed match primers (at considerable cost because I couldn't find them locally) and will get some IMR4831 with which to try and duplicate your...
Just got me a P229 SAS Gen II in 40 - can't wait to shoot it but unless someone approaches me with ill will, it will be at least 2 weeks before I do. Got a Mosquito a while back - made it to the range once with it. Love it.
A good read, but brief. Probably about half of what you wrote, and with no data from that diverse lot of loads you engineered, only about 15% of the whole story.
You should write a book.
