    What chronograph is the best?

    I have been using a Chrony Beta Master for a couple of years now and cannot thing of anything else I would like it to do. Fast to set up and easy to use once you get the hang of it. :roll: I like the master series as it gives you the remote display. They are around $120 around here. :grin:

    I use both X-Terminator and Varget and I am happy with the results except I can't figure which is better :roll:

    chronographs

    I have been using a Chrony Beta Master for over a year now and have been very happy with it. I like the master series because the readings are on the bench with you and not out being shot at. :grin:

    Ram TAC and the .45-70

    I have used X-Terminator but not TAC. 55gr seems like to much as they list 45.9 behind a 300gr for the Marlin 444 with a 51gr max.

    Case Trimming

    You can get one of the inexpensive Lee trimmers for five bucks and you will also need the cutter/lockstud combo for about seven bucks at sportsmens warehouse.

    Powder Measures

    I have been using an RCBS Uniflow since the late 70's and have been very happy with it. I did change to the micrometer adjustment several years ago. I also added a baffle.
