    30-30 with the Annealeez

I found a bag of 30-30 brass I forgot I had. It looks to be a mix of Winchester and Remington brass and all in good shape. Rained here for the first time in a while so spent some time in the shop running the Annealeez. Noticed that after it runs for a while the flame temperature gets hotter so I...

    Local Salmon Run.

Yes. In Westport near Wauna. A few years ago fish and game trapped them at the mouth to take them to the hatchery. wasn’t expecting to see much with the water so low now.

    A bit too relaxed.

I don’t bow hunt. I fill the freezer later on in the year with a cow elk. He’s made it through a few years here and hopefully will get through a few more.

    Lee Collet Dies

Got a LCD for 338 Win Mag. First use crushed case. Second use crushed case. Disassembled and everything looked good to me. Reassembled and another try, another crushed case. It was then I discovered they sent me a 300 Win Mag die in a 338 Win Mag box. I haven’t had any other issues with...

    165 Grain Accubond in .308

Will be working up a load with 165 grain Accubonds for the .308. Will do a work up from the starting recommended load but just wondering what powder is working well with this combo. Shooting out of a Ruger Hawkeye Predator.

    Close but not close enough

Had one of the coyotes show up on the shooting range last night. Got set up but just as I got on him with the scope he skedaddled. Pic shows the light on the gun in the background.

Didn’t Need them But Couldn’t Resist The SPS Price

Reminds me of an old farmer I used to hay for when I was in high school. We were talking about shooting nutria in the ditches and sloughs around his property and he told me he was thoroughly disgusted with himself because he had missed one with his .22. Not so much because he had missed but...

    Sig Brass?

Anybody have any experience with Sig brass? I’ve got a bunch of at least once fired 6.5 Creedmoor brass ready to get prepped. I annealed the necks and will full length size them. Will be my first experience with Sig brass so hopefully somebody can give me some info on how they stack up against...

    Nosler .25 cal 110 Accubonds

Never tried them but found a couple bags of blems in the .25 bullet drawer. . Will have to load a few for the 25-06 and 257 Roberts to see how they do. My go to in the 25.06 has been the old 120 grain solid base.

First range session Savage Axis ll—6.5 Creedmoor

Preowned rifle/scope combo. Trying out some Nosler handloads. I haven’t shot much lately so I think the rifle itself is fine and I was spreading them out. Pleasant combo to shoot from the bench.

Just curious what else you were using the H4895 for? I’ve got a couple of pounds in the stash but have never tried it.

    Reloading slowing down

Before I retired I spent a lot of time reloading and shooting. Goal was to develop a decent hunting load for most of my guns and reloading/shootingwas something that could be timed easily between my work shifts. I actually did a lot of brass prep on the job during night shifts. At this point I...
