First range session Savage Axis ll—6.5 Creedmoor

Preowned rifle/scope combo. Trying out some Nosler handloads. I haven’t shot much lately so I think the rifle itself is fine and I was spreading them out. Pleasant combo to shoot from the bench.

Congratulations on your 6.5 Creedmoor. The 129 ABLR load looks ready to go. My wife has a Kimber Hunter 6.5 CM and shoots lights out with the 129 ABLR. That bullet drops deer in their tracks.

Thanks for the reply. Was wondering how this would work for a deer load. May not have ti experiment much more with this rifle then as I have a couple boxes loaded and ready to go.

That load will crush deer. My wife shot this crop damage deer around 225 yards a few years ago. One of several that were DRT from the 129 gr ABLR.
