I was reading Guys post on "Lunch" and was wondering what marinades are good for venison? I usually just soak the steaks in cold salted water to draw the blood out and then fry to medium with a bit of garlic salt and pepper. But would like to try something else.

I was loading up some .223 with Winchester brass. Had 12 of them that had such poor primer pockets that I could not seat a primer in them. I've never had that problem before with any brass. I could see just inside the rim was a ring/band and though I tried to clean it up it didn't help...
The only relatively local store that has reloading supplies is out of the most common bullets and limiting people to 300 primers. They are small so their prices are always a little higher but they aren't raising them.

With my RCBS turret I resize/deprime all my brass, then clean. Prime, drop the powder and then seat all the bullets. I do all in stages, not one at a time.

Well, if you are only going to do one caliber the turret press is not necessary. And I am sure you know that the turret is not the same as a progressive. I have the RCBS and really like it. But the Redding turret is the mother of all turrets and if I did it again I would go with the Redding...
