    6.8 Western Quick Load Request

Hi there, have been shooting factory loads out of my Browning in 6.8 Western with great results, especially the 175 grain Sierra TGKs. I would like to load up the 165 grain ABLRs and was hoping someone could run a Qwik load for me, please and thank you. I load for many calibers but this one is...

    307 Winchester

My only snag with this is.....It seems like getting more than 43 grains of powder in the case is not possible? Do people just compress and crimp?

    6.8 Western?

Browning X-Bolt arrived yesterday (demo rifle) and priced right after Christmas. I have 4 x boxes of Winchester 165 grain ABLRs and after a couple of shots to get it on paper, I flung out a nice 3/4" group right off the hop. Recoil is light, its naturally accurate and I have to admit, whats not...

    307 Winchester

Reviving the post and just purchased (horse traded LOL) a clean 307 Winchester AE and I really like it. Ammo is not the best selection but I did see the load data with RL-17 WOW! In the research I have done, no one has tried RL-17, Big Game, or W-760? Thinking the powder capacity with a deep...

    A Return to the 30-06

Soooo the Savage Ultralite with the Proof barrel, has been excellent. StaBall 6.5 (59.0 grs) Lapua brass and Fed210GM primers along with 168 grain Nosler ABLRs has shown to produce nice sub one inch groups easily! The ballistics are impressive as well with some serious long range energy.

    A Return to the 30-06

I have such a variety of rifles and reloading material, and no need to justify the reason why, you can't have too much right? Anyways, looking down the line up (243, 257 Bee, 6.5 PRC, 300 Win Mag, 300 RUM, 35 Whelen and dads old 30-06 in a clean Belgian BAR, I just wanted a nice, light walking...

Bonz, 35 Whelen AI, been gone a while.

New powders have definitely assisted the 35 Whelen for sure. Using CFE 223 I have lofted 225 grain Game Kings and Accubonds well over 2800 fps out of my 24" gain twist barrel. I could push more but why....its a hammer. The loads I worked up for the 200 grain TTSX were 2950 fps in the standard...

35 Whelen 62k psi QL Data

The 35 definitely performs....but that quick load data hmmmm I load my Whelen, RP brass, Fed 210GM primers and 225 grain Accubonds @ 67 grains of CFE 223. I do not have flat primers! I get it, it's not the only indicator but that is interesting for sure. BTW 67 grains is a common load from...

    35 Whelen QL Load Request

Several new powders are very effective CFE 223 has 225 grain loads over 2800 fps and Varget is just about 2800 fps with 225 grain Accubonds.

    300 Win Mag...200gr+

    Rl-26 works very nicely.

Savage 111 New Project Rifle Turning into 35 Whelen

I love the Whelen, load pretty much all 225 grain fodder, with Varget I did manage to hit 2800 fps and get the partitions and Accubonds to hit the same spot, bonus! Mine is a 24 inch gain twist on a Remington Action done by the oldest barrel make in Alberta, shes MOA with Sierra GK's...

    Bought a 35 Whelen

Been loading my new Whelen for about a year now, started with Varget 59 grains under a 225 grain Accubond or Partition has been very accurate and consistent. over 2800 fps (24 inch gain twist 1:12 barrel) I do have some 250 grain Swift A frames and Speer Sp's to play with. I tried the lighter...

Load start for 300 WSM and 300 Win Mag Western Hunts?

Long range 300 win mag loads....I would look at 75.5 grains of H1000 under a Berger 215 grain variety. Carries the energy waaaay out there. I would also look at 212 ELDX under 8133 (80 ish but confirm that its warm) if you plan to shoot out to 900 yards look to non bonded heavily constructed...

What Are Your Favorite .300 Win Mag Loads?

    77-79 grains of RL-26 ADG brass, Fed 215GM is pushing 3200fps 26" barrel. 180 grain Accubond .

"Pulling" The Trigger on a .30-06

150 grain Barnes TTSX and Reloader 17, 3100 fps and very consistent. For the lighter bullets it is fantastic, does very well with 165 grain Accubonds.
