Been using 49 grains of varget with 125 nos BT best whitetail medicine I have found yet .Like 1shot said it drops deer like a bolt of lightening hitting them .

My gun seems to shoot the nosler bullet very well ,haven't shot it for group yet but been hitting water filled milk jugs with ease at 25 yards .Boy do they pack a wallop on a milk jug .... :grin:

Got a question I ordered nosler 250 grain dia.451 for my 45 l c and have noticed that hornady bullets are .452 dia. will this affect my accuracy?

Just got a new ruger r/h 4inch in 45 L.C. got 250 nosler bullets need a good hunting load .I have 2400 and h110 also sum blue dot power any help would be appreciated .

Pacer if 4350 and 4895 don't work for ya you might wanna try IMR 3031 it shoots good in my old remmy 700 with 70 gran bt's... :)

Yote I have a 26 inch 204 ruger barrel,and a 24 inch 280 rem. both shoot well under a inch @ 100 yards .Very pleased with the T/C Encore ....Geo. :grin:

Ya I'd take the sites off mine too I think it looks better ,not snagging them every thing you get close to either.Natchez shooter supply has them on back order for $245.00 seems like a good price to me would like to find a stainless barrel seems like the blue in the hornet is all you can find .

Yote did your barrel come with sights on it or was it a smooth barrel ?Been talking to guy from nathchez shooters supply he says the t/c 24 inch hornet barrel comes smooth is this correct ? I thought about the cz 527 but I thought what the heck already have the encore might as well put it to use...

I use the 139sst a bunch in one of my 280 rem. never had a problem shooting through deer with them .Most of the time it's a bang flop kinda deal with lots of red mist on the ground ..Geo.. :grin:

Well my thinking the 125 BT is to fragile for a shoulder hit has been calmed .Shot a nice 3 year old 10 point last weekend with my 308 hitting him square in the brisket bullet busted his brisket bone travel through his rib cage completly destroying his lungs bullet went to pieces in his right...

You have got and awfully good load with what your using ... :)
