    Mine eventually smoothed out after 900+ rounds and cycling with snap caps probably twice that amount. Lapping compound will speed that up a whole lot.

    Never used Norma, but I use nothing but Lapua for .308 win and it's great stuff. I have one set of 98 pieces on their 9th loading. It's really tough stuff.

    Surplus Powder Loading Guidelines

    I set up a weidener's account just so they would email me when they get WC846 in stock. I usually use IMR 4064 for .308 Win but for $94 per 8 pound jug, I can't pass it up. Plus that's the cost of 3 pounds of IMR powder around here before the shortage.
