If You Weren't Afraid Before...

It is becoming government tyranny. Any President of this country who says that the Constitution is standing in his way to do anything is advancing tyranny against the citizens of the US. The Constitution should be his guide not his limits of power! We need a Congressional legislative body in this country who will stand up for the people who elected them, not the special interests who bought them. This has gone way past the point of a balanced Constitutional government with balanced powers of executive, legislative and federal courts. No one presently stands for the interests and protection of rights for the citizens and we have an oppressor for President.

While we need to take our country back I fear the populace is against it.
We have traded a little freedom for security and have niether. I'm just glad I'm the last of my lineage.

I is never easy. It took 6 years after the Boston Massacre to get the patriots mad enough to risk fighting the superior force of the British Crown. The same holds true here except there would be other Civil War much larger more widespread and potentially bloodier than either the Revolutionary or Civil War just due to population dynamics in some areas. About 604 thousand men on both side died fighting the civil war in 1861 through the spring of 1865. This war with the United States Armed Forces advantage could be much bloodier because of armor use and superior weapons for DHS. DHS numbers bout 200,000 who are fit to fight.

The big question is who does the fighting. They initial indication is that it would be the DHS who would oppose rebel forces in this country, not the Marines and Regular Army. That actually makes the fight more even Patriots against most Hispanic Americans who work for DHS. The DHS troop would have the armor and weapons but the rebels would have the tactical advantage with terrain familiarity near home and commitments to their cause. The rebel forces would be better more deadly marksmen and would scatter to enhance local advantage and spread DHS thin.

Ben Franklin would be alarmed, asking why we have permitted the republic to get into this condition.

His answer: Complacency

I'm not scared, if it comes, I will meet it.

On the other hand, I have confidence that combat arms commanders in the military will refuse to act against US citizens. Plus with how the current administration has been demonizing veterans I'm surprised anyone follows his orders.

I also have confidence that most of DHS's agents can't shoot the room they're standing in.

When DHS shoots here at Blight-on-the-Border, they close the range on the pistol side so that nobody can watch the boys shoot. They start yelling at you if you approach their area. This in a private club of which I am a member and they get gratis shooting rights. The ex cop who runs the range told me that they are free guests and as such have no right to yell at a member, good one, huh! DHS attitudes dictate that they do anyhow, ungrateful swine!

Kick DHS off the range and make them go someplace else due to their manners.

Also, send a letter to their agency headquaters detailing why they lost the use of the range. Words like "unprofessional conduct"m "arrogant", and being "rude" tend to get the attention of the suits in Washington, D.C..

Just a way to urinate on somebody else's flowers. :)

EDIT TO ADD: I have noticed an increasing lack of civility and respect towards the populace by many various federal agencies, or their represenative agents, in the recent past. Could this be a forewarning of what is to come?

The women, a Mexican American renter, two doors down from me applied to DHS as an agent, she stiffed the home owner for 4 months rent before she left for training. Her husband was all covered with banger tats.

The American Border Patrol agents here are the most arrogant and least courteous. The two hour Laurel and Hardy routine that my wife went through a few days after she had a stress test at the Cardiologist's last summer and set off their radiation sensors convinced me that they are at the very least boneheads. Finally after two hours of Chinese Fire Drill in their offices, haranguing and their not knowing how to use a Roentgen meter and even a Geiger counter. They were yelling the whole time, "She's hot, she's hot!!", I had her take off her atomic watch, she passed and we went home.

This to a 70 year old housewife! Fortunately I was with her and knew enough to ask her for her to take off the watch or she would be in Federal Prison by now.

Every weekday down here, the Border Patrol takes over the range with the best benches for their qualificaton and practice. The sad part is they could use any of the other ranges that are just as big and let the club members use the benches. BTW, it's a 100 yard range and they are 25 yards or less from the berm. They don't even use the benches. :x There is one range set up exclusively for LEO use and they refuse to us that one. :x
When I used to go fishing at Pena Blanca Lake which is less than two miles from the Mexican Border, coming back home I'd have to pass through a BP check point. Here I am in my truck towing a boat and they want to know if I went to Mexico, am I a citizen and they were never to polite about it. When I go to New Mexico to see my daughter and her husband I hit another BP checkpoint. At least, so far that one has polite agents.

We have Nexus cards for which they investigate your background and if you have no serious border incidents, felonies or serious misdemeanors, they issue you a Nexus card. This is supposed to get you through special lanes at the border which are faster. They still pull us inside and shake down everything in our car about every 8-9 months. The interrogation lasts 20 minutes and then they are through hassling you and you can go home. They are always very officious and often rude during these shakedowns based on time passed not any violation.
