Well it shot and blew the shoulder out like it was supposed to I assume. I would load compare it to other cases and if it measures ok then I wouldn't worry much about it

Maybe a loose primer pocket from the factory? I have recently seen a few problems with big company factory brass and ammunition since the shortage.

Some rifles have long throats that cause you to load very very long depending on where you want to be of the lands. My 270 with 140 ab oal touching the lands is 3.522" it just depends oj what the rifle likes. Only way to know is ask it.
