I like MRC as well. I would need to see the " real world" prices on there actions as you can still find classic M70's for what they have the actions MSRP'd at. But with the old style trigger, MRC becomes my action of choice if I ever need to build a rifle from scratch.

I have shot whitetail ( big 275+ missouri) with 130 Partitions, elk and mulies with 150 gr Partitions ( partition golds). IF all I was chasing was whitetails, 130 gets the nod. As Jim stated above, if elk and mulies are on the list go with the 150. I can tell you first hand they strike...

All mine are 3x9x40 in big game rigs. I have never wanted more when hunting. I have wanted less though in the dark timber in Colorado.

Amen to that Bill. Mine seem to hover around .75 as well, but the FNSPR in .308 is a honest to goodness 1/3 -1/4 inch rifle.

Oh man. That is one heckuva deal. My FNSPR .308 loves 168gr bullets and IMR 4064.
