I put together a 28 Nosler rifle for a friend of mine specifically for a limited entry elk hunt he had drawn this year. He doesn't reload so I set the rifle up for the factory Nosler 175 grain Accubond Long Range cartridges. Honestly, I'm impressed with their velocity and accuracy. I clocked...
I recently returned from my first hunt on the African continent. Several friends and I were invited almost two years ago by Kannas Kannemeyer of Wild Wildebeest Safaris in South Africa. This past month three of us were finally able to make long time dreams come true, and we went on our first...
I just returned from my hunt in South Africa with Wild Wildebeest Safaris where I shot 5 plains game animals: Gemsbok @ 75 yards, Kudu @ 310 yards, Impala @ 122 yards, Sable @ 50 yards, and Warthog @ 147 yards. All animals shot with my .375 Ruger launching 270 grain Hornady Interlock bullets...
Went out this morning with a new load consisting of 83.0 gr of H4350 and a 270 gr Hornady Spire Point. After the third shot I was having a religious experience. All shots stayed within 1.5" at 200 yards from a bench with a temperature of 70 degrees. Muzzle velocity averaged out to be 2,796...
I recently had a new Lilja barrel installed on a Winchester Model 70 action chambered for the 375 Ruger cartridge. The barrel is finished at 22". I started with the 260 grain Accubond bullet because I was hoping to shoot somewhere around MOA out to 300 yards. I figured if any 375 bullet could...
My neighbor's 34" mule deer buck taken on self guided hunt on the Henry Mountains of Utah. Shot with my Christensen Arms .300 Ultra Mag and a 180 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet. Lights out! (y)

Any idea when more .284 175 grain Accubond Long range bullets will hit the shelves for reloading? I was fortunate enough to obtain a box of 100 a year ago but haven't been able to obtain any more since. I've developed sweet loads for the 7mm WSM and 7mm Ultra Mag and would like to load up and...
Congratulations on a beautiful bear.
I've been after an interior grizzly for the past four years without success. I've only seen sows with cubs and one small boar. Hopefully I'll tag one some day.
Was able to take a nice moose in the Alaska Mountain Range on the afternoon of September 20th.... last day of the season. My guide called this bull moose up from 506 yards away to 120 yards where I was able to put him down with one shot from my .300 Ultra Mag and a 180 grain Accubond bullet...
Any press releases, comments or load data out there on this new offering? I assume this heavy bullet is being put out there for the big Laupa/Weatherby/Ultra Mag fans.... of which I am one.
I have a factory Winchester Model 70 WSM I would like to rebarrel to a 7mm WSM for a long range hunting rifle project. It looks like the factory WSM barrel comes with a 4 groove barrel. Is it a problem to replace it with a Rock Creek or Bartlein 5 groove barrel?
Thank you.
