I was on a flight from Portland to LA and we flew right past it ! Impressive sight for sure! Continued on to Fiji to fly a year contract with Fiji Air, Columbia Pictures were finishing shooting the Blue Lagoon so got to fly Brooks Shields and her Mom back and forth to Mainland all the time...
Hornady, great performance, available, fair prices, ( Nosler has gone into outer space with the Partition prices). I don't buy bullets from ANYONE in bags of 50!
Never did never will!

This one sold last night on GB for $1450 plus 3% CC fee and $65 shipping so the buyer has $1550!!!! Scope is pretty much worthless, and of course he will add Skinner sight and fiber front. So he will spoil $1700 before he gets saddled up.
There is a total phenomenon here in the Northeast, fueled by the videos of a group of folks that are die hard trackers. They have a large following of " wanta be" groupie sorta hunters that seam to mimic their "heros" every move. To include the clothes they wear, boots they prefer, cartridges...
ShadeTree I have a standing offer of $ 2000 for the rifle!!!
Same fella will pay $1000 for my old 742 Carbine with no blueing left on the bottom of the frame! So it's very tempting for sure. $3000 is a crazy price for those guns imho.

These things in common calibers are up at a grand plus locally, higher conditioned ones more. Carbines are commanding 50% more! OMG. Minty unhunted Carbines $2000. Rare calibers in high condition $2500 plus, and new in the sealed Remington boxes in rare calibers or special editions. $3/4500...
Not sure what I should do with it ??? They are a very hot item here in NE, among all the "Whitetail trackers" and are fetching absurd prices! I had a .358 Savage 99 Featherweight , I used from the time I was 30/ till 60 with receiver sight for tracking big bucks and snowy day hunting. However a...
No it's not a 35 Whelen 🥴
So it's a 30/06 but I am good with that! Just for reference sake I remember the last of the 760's just before the 7600's sold for $179 in late 70's. My have times changed!!!!
I recently ordered a 7600 pump that looked very nice in photos, well it arrived yesterday and I was dumbfounded when I began to inspect it. Not one scratch on the slide rails, clip follower showed never having a cartridge loaded into it! A quick peak up the bore revealed factory cosmolean still...
Gosh Guy just seams like a few years ago you were riding your bike some incredible distance ( was it 50 miles??) What a wake call, up how fast everything can change! Take care of yourself olde boy ( you and I are same age) and nothing but very best Guy. Speedy recovery.....

Ordered a few bags of 6.5 bullets from you back on the 10th, and ordered a bunch from another firm at same time, their order showed up yesterday. Their freight was about HALF price of SPS. Just checked the status of my order.
ORDER # 2000076806
It's still showing ' label created ' and has not...
Saying you might be able to reload the brass 10x isn't truly relivent as the actual cost to buy it at about $1 a piece means that first loading for box of shells is $1 not the .10 cents you might be able to amortize it into at some time in the feature? So using a Buck a piece for brass to load...
This bubble is about to go down like the Chinese balloon 🎈! When I was looking for a 45/70 to play with last fall, I remember all the old tryed and true 1895 Marlins "pre COVID" that were at all the gun shows here in Maine were fetching $5/700 .
Now anything with a JM stamp on it is north of a...
Back about 30 years ago an old Winchester collector told me. " If I was your age I would buy rare Marlins, there are little competition at gun shows, and even though they cost the same as Winchester's when both new at turn of century, they are now about half price! He claimed it was because of...
For anyone interested, the price for a real Lyman tang sight to fit either a Winchester 1886 or Marlin 1895, has gone out into the ozone! Prices start at $500 and quickly escalate to over $1000 for minty ones. These so called 'long stem' rare sights, were out of reach to the layman until Lyman...
Hi Greg !
Sorry I missed this reply! Thanks for answering my posting. I had lots of responses and though I had recently purchased some 200 gr Hornady's from Graf's , I wound up with a bunch more from trades! I was particular seeking Speers 220gr for my old 35 Remington.
I was able to secure a...
