I have 2 2506's both shoot 100 gr bt's real well the number 1 will shoot one hole grps and the other is a ruger 77 and will shoot .248 with imr 4350 at 52.0 gr, the 77 will shoot 75 gr just as well and the number 1 does well with 110 accubonds with same charge.the 75 gr likes aa3100 at 58.0 gr

worst scope i ever had was simmons wht junk,,, as far as tasco goes i have 3 world class ones that have been used and used never one problem with them in 20 some yrs, favorite is shepherd though i have 4 of them and some day all my rifles will wear one

if u want a good scope buy a shepherd,, leupold is so over rated i have had them fix the one on my 264 win mag 3 times,i have a shepherd on my 7stw and my 325 wsm have never had a problem with shepherd and they work just as they say they do.

I have a ruger no 1 in 7 stw what an animal it is on deer, although my 308 works well also it's a rem 700 vls. the stw is far better at 500 yds than most have fun with it ,,, let the bbl cool well though

we all use 125 gr ballistic tips in 30-06 and 100's in our 25-06 both drop deer in their tracks

i have a 325 wsm,, i prefer that one will take anything on this continent with no worries.other than that i use 2506 on most game.. but some would rather have a 243 over a 2506 to ,,, it wht u can shoot the best is wht u should buy,,accuracy means everything,if u hate recoil u wont ever shoot good.

That's awesome i have the 7 stw and man does it shoot ,, I can't imagine it in 257 bore i have a 2506 and a 25wssm .1/4 bores shoot awesome and i never seen one that wasn't accurate as i have a 250-3000 and a 257 roberts also.good luck with it,, bet it's a keeper if not i'd be interested in it.

try sierra they make very accurate hunting bullets also and barnes does also.

try imr4064 mine does great with 44.5 grains it's at the bottom but that's where my accuracy is great.

i get good accuracy with both 120 and 150 gr bullets,,imr4350 works well wiyh both 51.0 for the 120's and54.0 for 150's
