Hi Dan, thanks for your concern pal :) ...I've been busy with work and my daughters wedding /house etc..
The wife and I spent 8 days in Banff Alberta 2 weeks ago, man its beautiful out west!!

A normal day is like have breakfast in the morning and stuff, fishing etc, unless you want to hunt in the early morning which is possible for the big bears, otherwise just relax and hunt mid afternoon till dark which also I think is best,

Your absolutely right (y) ..I do have over 1000 Square ft of finished basement which is being occupied by my daughter and fiancé, getting married in december :grin: ..the man cave is getting 1 step closer, and all to myself and the wifey :grin:

Thanks guys, yes my friend does pretty much everything in house, from tanning to making the jaw set, reproduction nose, habitat etc, I pretty much seen everything he did, most taxidermists here in Ontario send all their hides to a tannery in Quebec which could be a time consuming process and if...
That looks good, any of those well do the job just fine, with proper shot placement bears aren't hard too kill, even with a lesser caliber, just use a good bullet incase a blood trail is needed.

as a side note, this bear must of got caught in a trap or snare when he was younger, he was missing 4 out of 5 bear claws and was stubby on the fingers, here's a pic of the claw transplant that we did, pretty simple to do.

Got the cape on the manakin on Friday, should be all done this week with habitate and artificial rocks etc, should be all good, here's some pics freshly after mounting the cape, note that the string on the nose is for a snarl, and the cloth in the mouth is to keep the gum work damp and...
Hi fellas, my spring black bear mount is almost ready :grin: ..we took the hide out of the final tanning solution 4 days ago, my form is in and should be all finished next week sometime, we're going to also add some habitat to the mount as well, I'll post some pics when it's all complete, here's...
Hi DV, yes I've been there this spring and took a nice boar, if you check the trophy room, there's some really nice bears, awesome outfitter for sure, I'm in the trophy room under spring 2016 hunt, as well as in the bear hunters comments as well,

No worries Guy, yeah, I enjoy hunting bears as well, would love to go for grizzly one day also, anyway, we just took out my spring bear hide out of the tanning solution, and is ready to be mounted :grin: ..it should be all done within a week or 2 at the latest, I'll post a few pics when I get...
