Started out with sprig bear. Not much happened until Memorial weekend. We hit the rut and in 4 days we saw 14 bear. The boars were on the move and following the Sows. We use spot and stock and my partner got a 19 inch boar at 120 yards. 2 days latter i got a 21 1/4 inch boar at 130 yards. We both shoot 338 winchester my partner use 200 gr AccuBond and I used 200 gr. bt.. Sorry no photos to post on these .I have film but no way to convert to digital.
Fall Bear and Blacktail was slow but I finally got a 5x4 blacktail on the last week of season. He was 14 inches wide but heavy mass. No photos due to no camera at the time in fact i only had my gun and knife at the time.

ram161, I am jealous, really nice indeed, all I got so far is a cow horn white tail. Of course our 2008 season is really a 2008-2009 combination since it started with bow in Oct, rifle in Nov and ends Jan17, and primitive starts until Feb 15th

LOL, this year I missed a BIG WT twice with my shotgun. Ended up shooting a small 18 mnth old 2 pointer(or 4 pt if ya count them all) for the freezer.

However, I've had to hit the brakes every night for the past 4 nights to admire the big 5X5 that I missed as he eats on the neighbors green feed oats that were baled, but not picked up. There are no bales now, just 15-20 foot wide circles, as the deer have destroyed the bales.

It's almost full moon, so I can see by moon light but not get a good enough picture @ 75-150yds. The deer are so comfortable that they bed down in the hay as close as 40 yds from the road. They are generally pretty tame until mid september, then they start to get elusive.

Oh yeah, great pics. I'm just a little envious of that Mulie  . Must be fun to see that bad boy go down in the scope.
