I may have to load a few of those and try 'em in my 25-06 rifle... Some years back I used the 100 gr Barnes TSX at 3340 fps mv for three mule deer, but got away from that bullet due to inconsistent expansion and excessive copper fouling of the barrel.

But, the E-Tip ought to address both of those issues!

no issues with either! only issue was a bit lower velocity than i would have liked to make them shoot. not complaining though they work well. (y)

That looks great, LC! I may try some in my 25-06, too.

I just got some 6.5 120's to try in my 6.5 CM/250/6.5x55. I'm excited!

I have some 100 Gr. TTSX, I need to get some Etips now and compare, penetration, expansion, safe velocity and grouping. I have a Lipsey Number 1 with a 28" barrel & for a Number 1, quite accurate.

My 25-06 loves the factory Nosler 100gr E tip load. I had a box given to me to try. I can't wait to get a deer with them after seeing this. They hit my 100yd target 2.5" higher than the factory Barnes 100gr TTSX load I had it dialed for. That load shot 3007fps on average, I haven't got to chronograph these. 5 shots went under .75" with 4 of them well under 1/2". The flyer sure could have been me.

The 180gr E tips from the 300 win mag at 2900fps worked great on our AK moose, this bullet seems to be great.

was the expansion problem at the longer distances? I've seen that on some all copper bullets.
