I am struggling to get a decent load using vihtavouri n555 and the nosler 140 custom comps in new Lapua srp brass, I have done an ocw test and the only stable load I have found is around 40.5 GR of n555 and the speed is around 2500 ish FPS. I've goo e up to 43.8gr n555 and the speed is 2714 but there is no consistent point of impact on any of the higher charge weights. Can I post a pic of the target ?
On the nosler loading data site the 140 custom comps are shown with different powders and speeds and most max speeds shown are low 2600 fps. Is the bullet in the 6.5 creed better at slower speeds ?
