145 gr ELD-X 270 Win

3115 fps with a 140 is some serious speed. Pretty tough to beat that speed and accuracy, great load you have there.

Yeah, that’s a good one. May have to give that one a try for grins.

I was skeptical at first to be sure. H4831sc has been so good for so long. Like you SJB358, I just thought I'd try it for grins. Had read lots about it. Now glad I did.

I would honestly say that these bullets I like the best in order:
#1: Nosler
#2: Hornady
#3:Barnes
#4: Tie Sierra & Speer

Don't get me wrong, they're all great bullets, but this is my opinion.

Lagerboy,

I will try your full recipe, and see what results I get. Your info is too good to pass up.

Lagerboy,

Was your recipe out of a 22" bbl or a 24" bbl? Just curious.

I have a Thompson Center Venture, with a 24" bbl, and 5R rifling

Nice.
Well good luck. Don't want to be a nag but remember start small and work up. I started at 57gr.
