I was able to develop a great load with the 150 Ballistic Silver Tips this summer and now want to try the 150 Partitions. I used the Nosler book max with IMR4350. I plan on starting lower and working up, but would keep the seating depth the same at first?

Maintaining seating depth is probably a solid decision in this instance. Either bullet responds similarly when treated as a cup-and-core.

Not that I need to add to Mike's advice, but my son's 7mm Mauser shoots both of the bullets at the same die setting very well. The BT is actually a little longer COAL when loaded, but it works out real well. They both run with in about 20FPS of each other as well.

I have found the BT and PT shoot real well when seated similarly to the rifling.
