160 accubonds and 7mm rem mag

I've got a rem 700 bdl custom deluxe in 7 RM. It was not a kicker by any means, but I had a holland QD brake installed just so I could spot my own shots at LR.

I do remember when I was 12 and was shooting a winchester model 70 sporter in 7 RM and I remember it kicking a bit more. I was 10 years younger though and maybe weighed 100#.

But yah, a good recoil pad should take the bite out of the 7 RM.

yeah a different pad may be in order I was just curious how different loads may react because the old hh dont have much of a pad on it and it feel more like a push than a kick

Did we convince you to go with the 160 gr AB?
Its the only bullet you need to hunt anything you would use a 7mm Rem Mag on.

Quentin,

You won't be sorry. It is the right bullet for the job.
