I took my Remington 700 17 Remington up to the bench. This rifle has a fixed power Weaver Micro-trac scope. I'm not sure of the power but believe it to be 10 power.
1st target is 1st three shots out of a freshly scrubbed barrel. The load is one my father developed and my first attempt at duplicating it. 25 grain Hornady Hollow Point. New cases just run over the sizing button.
2nd target is first attempt with some 20 grain Nosler Varmageddon. I believe these are factory seconds. These cases were sized with a Lee Collet die.
I haven't done much shooting lately and my eyesight is not all that good so I'm happy with both of these groups.
