180 Nosler Partition 30-06

RL22 is a great powder for the 30-06 with 180 gr bullets.
Start load 57.0 grs
MAX load 61.0 grs

Roger that.

Reloader 22 works great in the good old .30-06 with 180 grain bullets and the 180 Nosler Partition is a superb hunting bullet. I stick w/60 grains for my old rifle. Works great.

Also might want to try H4350, Hodgdon lists some very good loads on their web site for the .30-06/180 grain combo.

I have already prepared cases and wil try these suggestions this weekend. I am gonna use Fed 210M primers in Remington cases.
Anything else I should try?
As a second note, I have used H4350 in my .300 win mag and shoots awesome!! So, I might try some of these also.

Federal GM210M match primers.

300 Win Mag
180 gr PT
75.0 grs RL22
Federal GM215M primer

This load shoots well under 1" in 3 different 300 Win Mag rifles, might be worth a try.

180 NP / 57.5 gr's H4350 / WW Brass / Fed 210 / 2,750 fps / Seated .030" off lands it's sub moa.

Rifle, 21" bbl'd 30-06 SS M70 Fwt.

What kind of powder makes a lot less difference than the bullet and the seating depth. I'd pick a powder that's appropriate for the case and stick with it - just change the seating depth on your bullet. If that doesn't work, change the bullet and start over. I get good results with this method using H-4350 for 30-06-based cases and the 6.5x55, though others would likely have worked as well.

Very excited to report that RE 22 is just as you'll said it was. I used both 60 and 61 gr in Remington cases and Fed 210M primers. COL 3.30
I can hardly wait to hunt with these. It shot 0.5 in groups all day!!!
