I think you'll like them Bill. I'm sure your old 300 will shoot them well. Remember, don't get discouraged if they don't perk when they are seated at mag length. I'd probably start at .025, .050, .075 and .1 off the rifling just to see what looks the most promising. I'm betting one of them will look better than the others
I will have to test them to see what OAL, is to the lands. The magazine is usually the controlling factor with the 300 WM. But I want to see how much in difference there is. I thought I would try them with H-1000, just to see what I come up with. I won't mess with them a whole lot as I am leary of shooting it to much, I do "NOT" want to have to put a new barrel on the rifle. I like it the way its is. 72 grs, of H-4350 puts the 180 Pt in around .400 but , these have a much higher BC.. Also my neighbor has a WM, so we can try them in his. I broke his in last year with the 180 AB. But never found the right combination.
