Blacktail Deer harvested in the Southern Oregon Cascades. Shot from 60 yards in his bed, using a Browning A-Bolt, Leupold VXIII 3.5-10X40mm, using 165 grain Sierra Gamekings. Opening morning found 2 inches of snow on the ground which made for a fun morning of tracking.

This is a pic of my Buddy's first ever big game animal. He got this Doe last Saturday morning, 125 yard shot using his 7mm Rem Mag shooting 140gr Partitions. Congrats Matt!!!!
Hello.. I wanted to share some pics and videos with you guy's and gal's. Im new to the board but not to hunting. I guide hunts in Alaska and book safaris in South Africa with Ingwe Safaris
I have tons of stories and pics.. This warthog fell to a 475 Lazzornie shooting a 500grn Barns xxx going 2400fps. Needless to say it floored him..
This is the link to the youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShE2rdphWmI
The gemsbuck fell to a 338 Lapua shooting a 300 woodliegh sp. He stumbeled a bit and fell over.. The shot was around 300 yards and the hit was in the lungs. I dont think it came out.
I have tons of pics at my website http://www.ingwe-safaris.com
Hope you enjoyed watching as mutch as I enjoyed shooting him.
I took this little guy last Wednesday. A 160 AccuBond from my 7mm Rem Mag did the trick. This is a pretty good little buck for free ranging in south Lavaca County, Texas. If you can get behind one of the high fences in the area the price of coffee goes way up as does the size of the deer.
i shot this buck with one shot at 585 yards with my ruger m77 with a laminate stock, glass bedded & free floated barrel, & toped with a bushnell 5-15x40 A/O firefly. load data: 150 grain nosler bal. tip., federal case, cci 200 primer, 58.5 grains of imr 4350 at 2985 fps depending on weather conditions, with a 3.191 COAL. the shot was at a pretty steep angle which, (i think) was an immense help balistically speaking. this rifle & load combination has produced consistent 5/8" @ 100 yards & 1.25" groups @ 300 yards for over 10 years now. i am a strong believer that it is not how big or what you hit them with, it is where you put your very first shot.[/img]
THIS IS MY WIFES VERY FIRST BUCK, IT IS ALSO MY DAUGHTERS VERY FIRST DEER HUNTING ADVENTURE. IT WAS THE SECOND GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE, THE FIRST BEING THE BIRTH OF MY ONLY CHILD. THE FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT OF GUIDING MY WIFE WITH OUR 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN 0N THIS BUCK AND SNEAKING TO ABOUT 80 YARDS ON THIS BEDDED BUCK AND MY WIFE MAKING A ONE SHOT KILL WITH A 6MM REMINGTON THAT I SHOT MY FIRST BUCK WITH OVER 20 YEARS AGO. THE LOAD WAS FACORY 85 GRAIN BULLETS. WE JUST BOUGHT A BOX SINCE I DID NOT HAVE ANY HANDLOADS FOR IT AT HUNTING TIME. ANOTHER THING IS THAT SHE ALSO GUTTED IT AND SKINED ALL BY HERSELF AS I TALKED HER THROUGH THE MOTIONS.
