Nice find. Lots of new choices for a #1 lover, the 257 Roberts is one of my favorite calibers. I have an anniversary 30-06 that has seen lots of use and a 375 H&H. Was thinking of getting one in 300 H&H, but am also contemplating a Nosler Custom Sporter in 280AI. Too many choices for a guy with terminal RADD.

I'm still thinking hard about the Boddington .375 Ruger (I believe it is a 1S model). I suppose I need to get my new 338-06 first, then restock my dad's 7x57, and THEN worry about a Ruger No.1 :mrgreen:

Love the Bob too, but have two already. I am thinking 270 or both 6.5's. WHen I look at rifles like such, I think of young folks, ie; planning for grand kids. I already have two 77 MkII's with matching optics in the safe purely for the purpose of passing onto grandkids. One is a Bob and the other is a 243. The more I think about it, I should stick with the american classics such as the 270.. It would be a killer lite carry gunwith 130's -150's. Hmmm

Whats important is that they are coming back with the hi-gloss bluing.... :grin:

Rod I just looked at the site, did you see they have it in the 6.5x55 Swede? Now that would be SWEET wouldn't it!! I also saw the 7x57 do you think there's a chance they gave it a proper twist of about 1-9 or 1-10 to stabalize the shorter bullets more appropriately and didn't have such a long chamber throat? Worth checking or not? :mrgreen:

Yeah 6mmRemmy, I caught that Swede listing too. Uff Da, you betchya I did.. However the one "Guy" who keeps given me a bad case of RADD for a #1 is the "Guy" who keeps posting pix of his awesome 375H&H. Wish I could recall that "Guy's" name....
