2014 mounts...

Genes got an idea there. Think I'd try it if it were me. Otherwise you should still be able to cut the horns off for some kind of plaque mount. Your taxidermist may have solution too. Chances are he has broken one or two. CL

Some white Bondo and a little artistic skill should make that skull look pretty righteous?

Guy,

Congrats on the Euro mounts. Looking forward to seeing them.
As for the dog, that sucks.

I'm recovering from surgery now. Should have the mounts up on the wall in a week or two. Will post photos then.

Dog? Well... I should have been smarter than to set a deer skull on the floor and expect him to ignore it... He does like his chew toys. Actually, the deer doesn't look all that bad. More like a new species "short nosed mule deer."

Huntin for "SNMD" in the Missouri river breaks..... Load up, sounds like a good plan.  Hope all is going well with your recovery and it wasn't too serious. CL

I am disgusted at just having had hernia surgery last summer and the same scar tore out again at the end of the other surgery!

Short Nose Mule Deer--can't rightly say when I last saw one of those. Glad to hear you're doing well, Guy.

Hang in there Guy.
I'll have to get a SNMD tag if I ever get up to the Missouri breaks. :)
