I posted this a long time ago on this forum but I think it would be best served in the Bullet Tests section. It is a 210gr Partition shot out of my 338Win mag at 10yds into gallon plastic jugs made of harder and ticker plastic than milk jugs, bullet ended up in the eight jug.

Here is what is left of the first jug that was literally pressed flat and thrown a good ten yards from the rest

Here is the first and fifth jug with their lids thrown away from the rest

So you can see the distance they were thrown

The after math and bullet ended up in the eight jug

Mike, those look excellent! Man, that was a great shooting Ruger 338 you had and that 210 was something great in it. Thanks for the thought of using laundry soap bottles, that is a great idea as well... Can't never have enough jugs.

If you get a chance, will you PM me your load data for the 338 and 210 combo. Scotty

The .338 210 gr PT is a great bullet, giving more penetration than it should.
It is a top performer in my 338 RUM at 3200 fps and pole axed a bull elk through the shoulders at 350 yds. Exit hole was the size of a golf ball.

Yes, I had a big White Tail buck running down a gas line right to me and I hit it at 30yds and that 210gr out of my 338Win mag stopped that deer literally in his tracks as it put his nose straight down into the ground and he never twitched.
