Doing a Ladder test for my 22-250 with 52gr ELDM and CFE223 powder
I loaded 2 rounds of each charge and here are the results

Where would you go next?
here is a photo of the cases, high charge left decreasing to the right.

I would personally look at the 39.0 grain load and try and see if I could make groups shrink there.

I do have to say that a batch size of 2 per rung doesn't say everything that it can, but that's just where I'd focus my attention.

Good advice on 39.0
My 2 cents.
If I want to stick with CFE, and 52 grn, I would repeat ladder, round robbin, load 3 round each, from 300 yards or more, marking the target. I am looking for both MV and POI.
If I were to stick with 52 grn bullet, I would choose a different powder like H4895, Varget, H380, H414, RL15, IMR4350, ALL with proven results with 52grn bullet and 22-250

Thanks for all the input, I don't have a target scope was off so I started adjusting without thinking then just decided to run the velocity ladder and check for pressure. I am pretty well set on the 52-55gr bullet weight, cant go much heavier because it is a 1-14 twist. I will load up some with 39gr and see how they group.
If the CFE doesn't work I do have Varget and IMR4064 to try.
