Nov 26, 2013 #1 O orchemo Handloader Dec 13, 2006 602 140 I tried some of these in my Remington VTR with a 1-9 twist. Loaded with TAC powder, a cantaloupe would have been safe at 100 yds. Seems I need a faster twist? Anyone else have luck with these in a 223 ? 20 bullets shot, 230 to go.

Dec 2, 2013 #4 W Wincheringen Handloader Jan 10, 2012 931 1 They shoot about an inch from my 1-9 twist barrel, my 1-8 puts them into sub half inch groups. The 69 grainers shoot pretty good from my 1-9 though.
