Certainly can be done, right person, right bullet right shot. Given that I missed last weekend at lees than 100yds....I am not qualified. My 250-3000 Savage is a smidge bigger than your average 22-250 and I can load a smokin 75 Grn Hornady. Why would I when a 100 Grn BT is almost as fast? Guess my point is, there other good options that still wont beat you up. CL

PS unfortunately Dr. Mike is right. And if you will take your 12year old hunting with a 22 CF the state gets another licsence. IF thats what you do I am not trying to say you should not. Too much respect for the folks who hang out here to make a judgement. Just Cynical enough to think that some one looks at the money side of it.
