223 & 64 grain Sierra Gamechanger Quickload Please

Hi Guys, I have been running a load with 55 grain projectiles which have been very accurate for me. The little 223 is a cartridge I am looking to get to know a little better, it is such a fun little round. With the 64 grain sierra gamechangers, I suspect varget will work well, have H4350 but suspect won’t get enough of that in case. I also have 2206H, not sure what they call that in the States but works great with the 55’s. barrel length is 24 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also any experience with this projectile would be great too. Thanks 😊
 
Have never even shot a 223 let alone loaded for one but it would appear that 2206H is H 4895 which should work well. Hopefully someone can confirm that or correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I know Dr Mike keeps his quickload pretty well up to date , I checked mine just to see , I don't have game changers either .
 
I can get you close by projecting with the 63 grain Semi-Spitzer (No. 1370) and the 65 graun SPBT (No. 1395).

I suspect the difference in bearing surface will account for the differences noted, which tells me nothing concerning the Gamechanger.
 
You will gain a little velocity at the expense of a bit more propellant. The amount burnt is roughly the same, so it is no more efficient. Case fill is slightly greater, which is not necessarily a good thing. I can't see that you are gaining enough to justify the switch. That is my take, which is worth roughly what I charged for it.
 
I have 500 of the projectiles so figure may as well work up a load for them. Will be fun learning a new load…hopefully.
 
I don’t have gamechangers but I do run the 65 grain gameking out of my 223. My best powder with that particular bullet was H335 with cfe 223 a much slower second in accuracy. Maybe you can get your
Hands on some and give that a try. Sorry that isn’t exactly what you were after
 
3130 fps but I would love to go check that with my new Garmin chronograph. Sadly cold rain today. . . The rifle is a savage with a long, heavy barrel. My loads are built for accuracy first and velocity second
