223 bonded bullet

I'm in. Can't wait to take a test drive with the 22-250. They should shoot well in a 1:14 twist.
Should make for an awesome coyote bullet for me.

I am in also.

Zombie Apocalypse around the corner!

I'm thinking they'd be a good self defense round for the AR - Since I live on rural acreage.

Man, I would think they would be the ultimate in an AR for all around truck/home issues. Able to handle varmints and about anything else with a decent bullet. I can't wait to try them..

I was in SPS today, they had a few bags out. I bought one for future use. Did a little measuring on them. They have about a .500" shank with an OAL of .790". In profile they are protected point semi pointed. A beefy little bullet. I'm out of 223 brass, but when i get some i'll give them a try in the mini 14.

Here is a picture of a 224 64 gr Bonded bullet recovered from ballistic gel.

dog gone it! I havent checked this thread in a while. I wanted to buy those 64 gr bonded solid base but they are out.
Someone mentioned they dont have a great BC but that doesnt bother me one bit. Id only be interested in high BC for long range target shooting. These bullets would be on my all around 0-200 yard list.
Anyone know who BVAC uses for their 64gr bonded load?

They didn't last long!

You can said that again, I've got a hold of ten bags for some load development. I hope my Remington 799 with a 1:12" likes them. If it does, I may have found my new bullet for southern WT deer and hogs bullet.
As of today I've been using the SPEER 70grains semi spitzer with good results. But, if this little pill hold together just a bit better than the speer then I'll be a really happy camper

I hope they become more available

Ya me too. I dont understand why no bullet maker wants to put out a bonded bullet for the public for loading in 223.

Nosler will make more, just do not know when.
