22lr rifle for suppressor use

Been toying with the idea of getting a bolt action rifle in 22lr to use with a suppressor. Curious to what others say is their recommendation. Would use it in the squirrel woods or urban pest control.

I have a Tikka T1x that I use with my Little Bird suppressor. With subsonic ammo it's movie quiet.
Being a Tikka, it's minute-of -squirrel-head accurate.

I had a 10/22 with a suppressor we seized from a serial felon, used it mainly for taking out street lights, front porch and yard lights when we wanted things nice and dark. Made less noise than a suppressed MP-5. The breaking glass and bullet impact made much more noise than the round going off.
Don’t remember if the Idea was hatched at a WSTOA or NTOA training no one mentioned the noise of glass falling. That’ll wake the dead at 0300 in the morning, thankfully not dopers. You can take the hinges off their doors with a 12 gauge, drop a flash bang, 14 guys enter, yelling search warrant and most of the time they are just starting to wake up. Still, it was fun shooting out those lights.

I also have a Tikka T1x . it's a good shooting rifle . the BBL comes threaded .

forgot to mention , the bolt cycles smoothly .

Forgot to mention that a bolt action is first preference. Tikka seems to get a lot of attention and has a good reputation.
Interesting story of suppressor use Don. I have a nephew on a swat team. I'll have to ask him if he's ever done that.
