hello

I´m fan of the rifles weatherby, and recently a friend sold me a rifle weatherby mark v custom shop, cal. 240 wby, is like new, beutiful rifle.

So looking for users of that caliber, what load you use and bullet????

Life average of the cases???

The most important, what primer, standard or magnum which to use??,

I have Fed 210m and Fed 215m, which of the two for this caliber????

Best regards

240Wby is an out standing cartridge and it is my second most favorite Weatherby cartridge.

Try the 85 grain Barnes TSX with 48.0-53.0 grains of IMR 4831 powder and your Federal 210M primers.

The other bullet to try would be the 100 grain Nosler Partition with 49.5-53.5 grains of IMR 7828.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks bullet and tbastian:

this caliber is new for my, among the weatherby that I have there is 257, 270, 300 and 340, now I add the 240,

revising my inventory, I have 95grs nosler ballistic tip and 100 grs sierra sbt

I go to test that load whit the 7828,

and about primers, some friends tell me that primer standar, another comrade tells me that the Fed 215m

Which you use and if you detected some change in their loads using one or another???

best regards
