A 4.5-14 would be perfect for the 240 Wby.

I have actually been looking a few times on Fotis leupold scope.
If the turrets hadn't been that tall(high), it would have been a good candidate. It is that size scope
I am looking for. I wish low closed turrets on the scope monted on low mounts.

The 90 gr Swift would be an awesome load in the 240 Wby, talk about flat shooting. The Scirocco is a tough bullet too.

The Scirocco from Swift is the best I have seen so far. I hope to get close to the 3500 ft/sec. Zero the scope dead on @ 300m(330yards). The bullet will only drop aprox 10" @ 400meters(440yards).
If any ballistic should become significantly better in the 6mm world the gain would become less than an inch and a burned out barrel. The .240wea from my year of birth is still the king in its own 6mm kingdom.
